Laser tools produce a beam of highly concentrated light. This light is absorbed by pigment in hair follicles. During the procedure, lasers pulse for a fraction of a second, just long enough to vaporize pigment, disabling numerous follicles at a time.
An individual’s metabolism, hormonal level, hair quality, and number of follicles all affect your body’s response to the treatment. Typically, two to five laser hair removal treatments are necessary to achieve desired results.
Other than arriving with your treatment area clean and free of makeup, there is no preparation. After treatment, you can return to normal activities. The treatment area will look and feel sunburned for a day or two. Avoid tanning or sunbathing during your laser hair removal treatment regimen.
