What is Juvederm Vollure XC?
Juvederm is a filler that is made with Vycross technology, which is used in Juvederm Voluma XC, which increases volume in the cheek area, as well as Juvederm Volbella, which augments the lips. This injectable filler is now available through Juvederm Vollure XC to treats moderate to severe parentheses lines and wrinkles by adding volume to the lines and wrinkles around your nose and mouth.
How long do results last?
In a recent trial, 59% of subjects saw improvement in moderate to severe nasolabial folds for up to 18 months, and 82% of patients said that they were very satisfied with their treatment after six months. Maintenance is easy, as the treatment needs to only be done once every year and a half. Juvederm Vollure XC shows the longest-lasting results in any clinical study in nasolabial folds.
Are there any side effects after treatment?
The most common side effects include swelling, tenderness, bruising, firmness, pain, and discoloration. Most of these side effects were resolved completely within one week.
