laser_hair_removalLaser hair removal is one of our most popular procedures at North Scottsdale Laser & Skin Care Clinic! The Wonders of Laser Hair Removal

Q: How did you end up at North Scottsdale Laser & Skin Care Clinic?
A: I went to esthetics school with one of the other estheticians at North Scottsdale Laser & Skin Care Clinic, and she brought me over here.
Q: Who is a good candidate for laser hair removal?
A: Anyone with dark hair is a candidate for laser hair reduction. The laser is not able to target light colored hair, so people with grey, white, or blonde hair are not candidates for this treatment.
Q: How often do patients come in for treatment?
A: Patients come in every four weeks for laser hair removal on the face and every six weeks for removing hair on the body.
Q: What advice can you offer to those considering laser hair removal?
A: The best advice I can give patients is to be patient because results don’t happen overnight. It might take a couple of treatments to start noticing results, but we will get there.
Q: What does the treatment entail?
A: The laser hair reduction consists of an application of cold gel and a laser hand piece that moves over the desired area for the duration of the treatment.
Q: What treatments go well with laser hair removal?
A: Photofacials are also a great treatment that will target the reds and browns in the skin to make the skin tone more even.
Q: Is laser hair removal painful?
A: Laser hair reduction can be painful, but we have cooling mechanisms that can make the treatment more comfortable.
