Our medspa offers BioTe hormone therapy, which delivers bioidentical hormones through subcutaneous pellet therapy. After a thorough exam and lab work to determine a patient’s precise hormone optimization needs, pellet therapy provides hormones steadily and automatically to the body.

What is pellet therapy and how does it work?
Pellets are very small, custom-compounded therapies for symptoms stemming from hormonal imbalances. This type of therapy results in hormone levels remaining consistent throughout the day. Pellet therapy avoids “peaks and valleys” that may occur with other delivery mechanisms, such as topical creams or oral medications.
Small pellets are inserted subcutaneously via an incision in the upper buttock area, during an in-office visit to our medspa facility. After that, return for a six-week check up, then return every few months to have new pellets implanted.
