What is microblading?
Microblading comes from the ancient tradition of tattooing by hand. Using a disposable, patented needle, which is designed for comfort, efficiency, and pinpoint precision, this treatment will mimic the effect of permanent makeup in a more natural, semi-permanent manner.
Who can benefit from microblading?
Anyone who wants to make their eyebrows more defined can benefit from microblading treatments. At North Scottsdale Laser & Skin Care, we require a consultation before treatment, and we also require that each patient is healthy and cancer-free before receiving microblading treatments.
How long do microblading treatments last?
We’ve found that most treatments last for about one to three years. The ink that we use is permanent but will fade after the first twelve months, especially due to any sun exposure that your face may receive. Two visits are included in the initial purchase, and additional touch-ups may be purchased at any time. Because different people’s treatments may wear off differently, maintenance is individual and unique to each person.
Does the treatment hurt?
No, the treatment does not hurt. We numb the area prior to treatment, and as the procedure is performed, you should feel almost as if a hair is being tweezed. Some patients even get comfortable enough to fall asleep during the treatment.
What other treatments go well with microblading?
We believe that any treatment goes well with microblading! With more defined eyebrows, you may want to try Latisse to lengthen and thicken your eyelashes. This combination will make your eyes pop without even wearing makeup!
